About me
After qualifying from the University of Parma, in Italy, Massimo moved to the UK to extensively train in minimally invasive endovascular techniques.
He was appointed as Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham in 2019. He is currently the Renal Access Lead as well as being part of the complex Birmingham Aortic Team.
Since taking up his post, Massimo has been heavily involved in training activities in the form of organised workshops in endovascular techniques for trainees and junior consultant in vascular surgery and interventional radiology.
Having a broad skill base in key hole as well as open surgery means that he is able to offer all variety of vascular procedures, including minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins, open and endovascular lower limbs revascularisation, carotid endarterectomy for stroke prevention, open and endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, vascular access for dialysis.
His expertise in walk in-walk out endovenous treatment of varicose veins, including foam sclerotherapy and radiofrequency ablation, make him the obvious choice for the management of your venous problems
