About me
I have been working as consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust since August 2013. I completed my training in South Yorkshire and Humber deanery and apart from acquiring sound knowledge and skills in the management of general gynaecological problems, I gained special skills in the management of Urogynaecological problems and acute gynaecological emergencies. I am proficient in outpatient management of urinary incontinence problems in females, pelvic organ prolapse, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, PCOS, postmenopausal bleeding, HRT advice, postmenopausal symptoms and vulval pain. I am competent in surgical correction of uterovaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence surgical procedures, hysterectomy via vaginal route for prolapse and abdominal route for uterine fibroids. I am capable of competently performing laparoscopic procedures for ovarian cyst removal, Oophrectomy & adhesiolysis for pelvic pain. I am competent in hysteroscopic resection of fibroid and polyp as well. My annual appraisals, log of surgical experience and hospital statistics outcome data demonstrate good outcome with minimal complications. Provision of safe and high quality care is of paramount importance to me which is reflected in consistently excellent multisource feedback and patient satisfaction surveys. Maintaining trust and effective communications with my patients is extremely important to me, which is demonstrated in my everyday practice. In order to to provide evidence based and effective care, I like to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I do have keen interest in teaching and training.
