About me

I am a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with special interest in urogynaecology, ambulatory gynaecology and medical education.
I offer comprehensive gynaecology service for menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic organ prolapse, ovarian cysts, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, sexually transmitted diseases and vulval skin conditions.I perform open, laparoscopic and vaginal surgeries.
In Obstetrics, I provide acute obstetrics as well as antenatal care. I lead on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), caring for Patients who decline blood products and Perineal Trauma clinics.

I have special interest in medical education and hold the role of RCOG College Tutor sand Training Programme Director (IMGs and DA), where I am responsible for overseeing the delivery of training to the West Midlands Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees. I am a GMC associate for Specialist registration and a Portfolio Pathway Advisor with the RCOG which adds another dimension to my educational role in terms of Quality Control. I am also an Honorary Lecturer with Keele University.
