About me
I qualified in Birmingham where I trained in general medicine before moving to Manchester to train in oncology at The Christie. Since being appointed as a consultant at The Christie in 1997 I have specialised in treating head and neck cancer . This includes complex Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and the use of chemotherapy both adjuvant and palliative.
I also treat skin cancer, both melanoma and non-melanoma with radiotherapy.
I was previously chairman of the Christie Drug and Therapeutics Committee and am now Clinical Director of the Department of Clinical Oncology
