About me

Dr Rakesh Anand is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital as well as an Honorary Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He practises privately at the Lister Hospital and the Chelsea Outpatient Centre where he specialises in skin cancer and skin surgery.

Dr Anand has expertise in all aspects of general and cosmetic dermatology. He attended University College London Medical School before completing specialty training at renowned hospitals in London, including the Royal London and the Royal Free. He then went on to undertake a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic and laser surgery at the St John's Institute of Dermatology.

Dr Anand has been recognised by both colleagues and patients for his attention to detail in providing the best patient care possible. He is also known for his sensitive and approachable manner. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal skin health, and he takes a holistic approach to care informed by his training in psychology and behavioural neuroscience.

He is a member of the British Association of Dermatology, the British Society for Dermatological Surgery, and the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group. Additionally, he remains active in dermatological research and has received numerous awards for his work.
