About me

I am a Fellowship-trained Consultant Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist with expertise in MSK imaging and interventional procedures.
After my radiology registrar training in Liverpool, I completed the Toronto Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship in Canada.
My special interests in MSK Intervention, Rheumatology, Sports imaging and sarcoma.

My NHS consultant post is at the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals, where I am the Trust Specialty Training Lead and MSK Lead.
I have further developed the NW MSK intervention service by introducing MSK Cryoablation for Morton's neuroma, bone metastases and fibromatosis.
My private practice is in Spire Liverpool Hospital, Spire Murrayfield and Rodney Street.

I perform all aspects of MSK radiology including a wide range of imaging-guided MSK Interventional and complex procedures including for pain e.g.:

My publications are in MSK intervention and sports most recently about cryoablation, with book chapters in rheumatology re. back pain.
In my role as clinical expert advisor in the Cancer Alliance Sarcoma CQG, I authored the regional ultrasound and MRI guidelines for scanning soft tissue masses.
