About me

I am an experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist, having worked for 10 years in the NHS both in adult mental health and specialist adult autism services. Alongside my NHS practice, I maintain a small private practice. I am fully registered with the Health & Care Professions Council HCPC and a qualified EMDR practitioner. I work with adults presenting with a broad range of mental health difficulties including those relating to trauma (including complex PTSD), depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties.

I have been trained in a broad range of therapeutic models, however my practice is mainly informed by Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and EMDR. With specialist knowledge and experience of working with neurodiversity, I can also support people to better understand and manage differences related to ASD/ADHD.

I will support you to identify and recognise problematic patterns, how these started and what keeps them going, and introduce alternative, healthier ways of coping or relating in order to exit" from these patterns. Where difficulties are rooted in past trauma, I can support you to understand and process key memories to overcome these difficulties.

Areas of interest

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); Complex PTSD; Borderline Personality Disorder; Anxiety; Depression; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
