About me

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. I was appointed in August 1999. I held an Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon contract at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath running the specialist Hip Clinic until 2022 when I left the NHS and since then have been in full time independent practice. I trained in Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore (London) and undertook a Specialist Hip Fellowship with Prof Don Howie in Adelaide, Australia. I see adults with all types of hip problems but my surgical practice is as a specialist hip replacement surgeon.

Specialist Hip Surgeon - Primary Hip Replacement. Non-Surgical Management of Hip Disorders; Although I have over 25 years experience of Revision Hip Replacements and Hip Resurfacing these operations are no longer undertaken privately in Bath.
