About me
Hamid Daya is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a specialist interest in Paediatric ENT currently practicing at St. George's Hospital, London where he is the Lead for Paediatric ENT.
Hamid has been in practice since 2000, during which time he developed the concept of delivering private Paediatric ENT care under the framework �ent4kids� of which he is Medical Director.
During his training he became fascinated by the field of Paediatric ENT and completed his training with a Fellowship in Paediatric ENT at the world renowned Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
Hamid qualified from the Universities of St. Andrews and Manchester receiving his medical degree in 1988. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993 and completed postgraduate training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in London.
During his training he became fascinated by the field of Paediatric ENT and completed his training with a Fellowship in Paediatric ENT at the world renowned Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
He has a particular interest in middle ear and neck disease. At St Georges he contributes to Multidisciplinary Teams in Paediatric Airway, Lymphatic and vascular malformations and The Royal Marsden Paediatric Soft tissue Tumour group. He also works closely with the world leading Foetal Medicine Team at St George's, where along with his Paediatric ENT colleagues he provides ENT expertise and support for babies diagnosed antenatally with Head and Neck malformations, some of which may need delivery by the EXIT procedure.

In addition to his professional career as an ENT Surgeon, Hamid has a particular interest in the promotion of ENT care in the developing world and has travelled to many different countries including Ghana, Tanzania and Cambodia on research and surgical trips.
He has served on the on the Board of Directors for �Sound Seekers�, a charity with a mission to improve the lives of the hearing impaired in developing countries. Hamid provides specialist ENT support to the Chain of Hope charity for children with complex cardiac conditions who also have ENT problems.
