About me
Dr Derek Connolly is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist having been appointed to his current post in 2000. He originally trained in Medicine in Edinburgh where he was awarded the Brunton Medal and a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacology. He then trained in Cardiology in San Diego, London and Papworth. He was a British Heart Foundation PhD fellow at the University of Cambridge. His primary interest is the detection, treatment and prevention of coronary heart disease.

All aspects of Interventional and General Cardiology, Chest pain, Breathlessness, Palpitations, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Cardiac risk assessment. Cardiac Catheterisation, Cardiac CT, Cardiology Research and clinical trials.
