About me
Dr Cristy Leask is a Counselling and Occupational Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society. Her 20 years of work expands the NHS, private practice, people transformation and executive coach. Within the NHS, she worked part of primary care, adult mental health and eating disorder settings. Cristy is authentic and intuitive working collaboratively with her clients to reach a mutual understanding of their current situation using evidence-based interventions. She is trained in cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, solutions brief therapy, and couples and family therapy. Currently, she works online using Skype or FaceTime sessions.
Cristy has extensive experience in the FMCG, Legal, Banking and the Aviation sectors. Her experience in Occupational and Counselling Psychology weave together to provide evidence-based interventions for individuals and teams to enhance high performance. She is a certified Enneagram practitioner and a Strengthfinder Coach. In her coaching work, Cristy works with individuals at all levels of the organisation to evoke transformation. The trusting relationship enables self-reflection, develops self-awareness, enhances strengths and insight into diminisher behaviours assisting individuals to improve their performance with accountability to help make real progress.
Cristy is an adjunct Faculty at schools presenting on Leadership and Change Management at several business schools in the UK, South Africa and Sweden. She has authored academic research papers on leadership, agility, resilience, mental fitness and wellbeing. She facilitates webinars, keynotes and panel presentations on wellbeing, organisational culture, high-performing teams and leadership. Cristy is passionate about assisting leaders and employees within the grand challenge of mental health and wellness in the workplace during the post-pandemic recovery.
