About me
Hello, I'm Joanne, a registered, accredited counsellor, with 10 years of experience working as a mental health therapist and 15 years working in stress management and family support. I offer, face-to-face sessions, as well as on-line and telephone sessions.
I'm a trauma informed therapist working with an integrative approach, which means I use various models of therapy, including CBT, psychodynamic, parts therapy, solution focused, working with the nervous system, inner child (unconscious), mindfulness, stress management, breath and body, and vagal toning.
My service can help you with anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, trauma in childhood/adult, bereavement, intrusive thoughts, stress, relationship challenges and more.
The relationship you build with a therapist is crucial to how successful your counselling will be. It's important to feel you have a connection with your therapist, which is likely to determine the outcome.
