About me
Mr Tim Mould has been a consultant gynaecological oncologist since 2000.
He practices at the Portland and Princess Grace Hospitals. He was at University College London Hospital from 2000 but retired from the NHS in 2023.
He performs diagnostic and preventative for women with abnormal cervical smears, cervical precancer and post coital bleeding. He sees women with post menopausal bleeding, or bleeding with HRT, and advises on HRT. He is a specialist genetic abnormalities such as BRCA.
He advises re suspicious ovarian cysts but no longer performs extensive surgery for cancer. He works with a team who are world leaders in cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC for ovarian cancer, minimal access laparoscopic surgery for endometrial / cervical cancer, and still advises on this. The also specialise in the treatment of vulva and vagina cancer.
He has had the following roles:
North London Gynaecological Cancer Network Lead from 2001 to 2008;
Clinical Director for Women's Health at UCLH between 2008 and 2011;
Lead for colposcopy at UCLH 2009 - 2015;
Gynaecological Pathway Director for London Cancer 2012-2017.
He is active in research with over 50 peer reviewed publications, 10 book chapters and an MD thesis in cervical cancer prevention. He has edited the frequently quoted textbook - Pelvic Cancer Surgery: Modern Breakthroughs and Future advances.
