Research interests

Mr Chammaa has submitted a proposal to perform day case lumbar discectomy surgery, a surgical procedure exclusively available at selected units in the UK.
He is actively involved in research, is a local principal investigator for PQIP (perioperative quality improvement programme)
Mr Chammaa is currently working to introduce kinesiometrics in the UK through an international collaboration with surgeons and companies in the US.
Management of the painless foot drop, a multi-centered RCT in collaboration with BASS.
