About me
Dr Brian Hin has both a private and an NHS practice at The Royal Marsden. He is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, specialising in radiotherapy treatment for upper and lower gastrointestinal and gynaecological cancers.
He was awarded 1st Class BSc Honours (Molecular Sciences with molecular and cellular biology, University of London) in 2006 and won the Dudley prize for best performance in that degree. He graduated from Imperial College in 2008 and his specialist oncology training was completed at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal Surrey County Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital. He undertook a research degree at the Institute of Cancer Research and was awarded an MD(res) in 2021. His research centered on the use of adaptive radiotherapy for the treatment of head and neck cancers and his work led to the first head and neck patient to be treated on the MR-Linac.
He has a particular interest in the use of modern radiotherapy techniques and image guidance for optimising radiotherapy and is the Principal Investigator for GI and Gynaecological cancer studies.
