Dr Samir Abdelghaffar is Consultant Interventional Radiologist, working at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to Uterine fibroid Embolization UFE or UAE, Varicocele Embolization, Prostate Artery Embolization and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome.
Dr Abdelghaffar has more than 30 years of experience in Clinical Radiology which reflects on the success rates of his procedures and safety of his patients. Beside his clinical skills and expertise, he's acquired a University academic degree of Ass. Professor from Ain Shams University in Cairo and has been an invited guest speaker in many conferences.
He supervises Interventional Radiology trainees and IR fellows helping then to acquire the knowledge and skills required for a safe and a successful practice.
