Dr Imran Ansari, a distinguished Consultant Cardiologist who stands at the forefront of adult cardiology, specializing in investigative cardiology. With a career trajectory marked by dedicated training and expertise, Dr Ansari has established himself as a prominent figure in the field, prioritizing comprehensive patient care and cutting-edge techniques.

Dr Ansari completed his medical degree at Bhavnagar University, India in 2003 before relocating to the UK. In 2008, he became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians. He later completed his cardiology training in Nottingham and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, in September 2019 after receiving his CCT in 2018.

Dr Ansari addresses a wide array of cardiac issues, including ischaemic heart disease, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure, chest pain assessment, breathlessness, palpitations, blackouts, and blood pressure assessment and control. His comprehensive approach allows him to provide holistic care to his patients, ensuring that all aspects of their cardiovascular health are considered.

At the heart of Dr Ansari's practice is a focus on modern and up-to-date imaging techniques. His proficiency shines in areas such as echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT, where he employs the latest technologies to glean insights into his patients' cardiac health. Notably, his advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging services include 3D evaluation of the heart and strain analysis through transthoracic echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and transoesophageal echocardiograms.

Dr Ansari's expertise is particularly pronounced in cardiac MRI imaging, where he employs cutting-edge techniques, including Artificial Intelligence-based quantitative stress adenosine MRI. This approach allows for precise evaluation and diagnosis of conditions such as cardiomyopathies and ischemic heart disease.

Beyond diagnostics, Dr Ansari's interests extend to cardiovascular risk assessment, where he leverages CT coronary calcification and non-invasive methods to assess coronaries. His holistic approach is evident in his provision of multi-modality assessment for coronary artery disease, structural cardiac problems, and heart valve disease.
