About me

I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with around 10 years post qualification experience in the NHS and private healthcare. I am skilled at working with adults navigating the challenges in their life which are impacting their mental health and emotional wellbeing. These challenges may include the long lasting impact of early childhood difficulties, negative relationships, coping strategies which no longer serve someone or life events such as bereavement, illness, work stress. I work integratively drawing on models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to tailor the therapy to individual needs.

I work collaboratively with individuals to achieve the changes they would like for themselves. As a person I value being caring, compassionate and taking personal responsibility. These shape my practice by influencing how I approach working with someone and guiding decisions about treatment. I believe the relationship formed with the client is key and I bring warmth, kindness and encouragement to support people move closer to the life they want.
