About me

I take a warm and compassionate approach to my work with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents/carers. I'm here to help with moving forwards through difficult periods and for things to feel more manageable in an often challenging world. I work integratively, drawing upon several therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), depending on what feels appropriate for each individual's needs. I feel it is important to get to know each person as a unique individual and build on strengths in our work together. I also work creatively when appropriate and if my client welcomes it.

I have worked in the NHS and third sector for over ten years, with both children and adults with many different mental health issues. My experience includes working in both local and national specialist CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service) and a specialist trauma service.

It can be really difficult to reach out for support. It can also be tough trying to figure out whether a therapist might be a good fit for yourself or your child. For this reason I offer a free 15 minute consultation by phone or online to explore what support you are hoping for and to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
