About me
I am a Psychologist and Psychotherapist specialising in integrative, attachment-based therapeutic work with adults, children and young people, alongside consultation for parents, carers, families, schools, and organisations. My work is grounded in psychological practice and draws on psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy, EMDR, and DBT-informed approaches.
Some people seek my support for anxiety, trauma, low mood, stress, self-esteem difficulties, relationship and attachment challenges, emotional regulation, parenting concerns, school-related distress, loss, identity questions, or significant life transitions. Some come with a wish to understand how earlier experiences and relationships continue to shape their present emotional world, while others are seeking support with current difficulties or a clearer sense of direction. Our work moves thoughtfully between past, present, and future, depending on what is most helpful, with attention to both immediate needs and the deeper patterns that may underlie them.
My approach is warm, reflective, attachment-based, and psychologically grounded. I offer a containing and collaborative space in which you can feel understood, think more clearly about your experiences, strengthen your sense of self, and develop more adaptive ways of relating to yourself and others. Alongside therapeutic depth, I support people to recognise their strengths, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
I undertook my Doctorate at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and my psychotherapy training at the Tavistock and the Bowlby Centre. I am also a trained EMDR and DBT therapist and a qualified teacher.
I welcome enquiries from adults seeking support for themselves, as well as from parents, carers, families, schools, and organisations seeking support for children and young people. You are very welcome to get in touch so that we can think together about the support you are seeking and whether I would be the right fit. We can then move forward in supporting you further.
