About me
I am a Psychologist and Psychotherapist offering integrative, attachment-based therapeutic support for adults, children, young people, parents, carers, families, schools and organisations. I work with people experiencing anxiety, trauma, low mood, stress, self-esteem difficulties, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship and attachment challenges, parenting concerns, school-related distress, loss, identity questions and significant life transitions.
My approach is warm, thoughtful and psychologically grounded. I draw on psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy, EMDR and DBT-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each person's needs. Some people come to therapy wanting support with a current difficulty; others wish to understand how earlier relationships, experiences or patterns continue to shape their emotional world. Together, we can think carefully about what is happening, what may sit beneath it, and what might help you move forward.
I offer a containing and collaborative space where you can feel listened to, understood and supported. Our work may focus on making sense of difficult feelings, strengthening emotional regulation, improving relationships, building confidence, processing trauma, or developing a clearer and more compassionate relationship with yourself. I aim to support both meaningful insight and practical change, helping you develop resilience, clarity and a stronger sense of direction.
I completed my Doctorate at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and undertook psychotherapy training at the Tavistock and the Bowlby Centre. I am also trained in EMDR and DBT-informed therapy, and I am a qualified teacher. This enables me to bring together psychological, psychotherapeutic, educational and developmental perspectives in my work.
I welcome enquiries from adults seeking support for themselves, and from parents, carers, families, schools and organisations seeking psychological or therapeutic support for children and young people. Please feel free to get in touch so that we can think together about what you are looking for and whether I may be the right person to support you.
