About me
Dr Barnes has over 17 years’ experience of working therapeutically with people experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.
Her experience spans forensic, adult mental health, learning disability and neuropsychology services. Her current NHS role is within a local NHS child, young people and family mental health crisis service.
Cheontell has specialist skills working with children and families including those who have experienced Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex and developmental trauma and attachment difficulties.
Cheontell provides psychological support for children, adolescents and adults. This includes working with individuals, couples or families.
Cheontell practices using both face to face, telephone and online interventions, and also offer 'walking' therapy.
Cheontell is registered with both the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
