About me

I work with adults, couples, parents and children, and have been doing so for 25 years. People come to me for help because they might be struggling themselves or their child is. Sometimes problems won't go away or they feel too big, and stress comes with that. I can help by thinking about what can we change - sometimes we work on thoughts and feelings and other times behaviour (finding ways to do things differently).
In therapy I help people to develop their own insights and self-awareness as I see that as the golden key to both acceptance and change. | don't think therapy should be all about tips, techniques and toolboxes and I don't know all the answers, but I wholeheartedly believe we can learn to accept ourselves just as we are and that change is always possible.
I love my work, and seeing change in people. I enjoy helping people find their way and things change for them in positive ways. However you are feeling, whatever the problem, however you are, you are most welcome in my therapy room.

Areas of interest

In my now long career I have worked in Child Development, Autism, CAMHS and Adult Mental Health.
I am interested in mindfulness and acceptance.
