About me

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with a practice focused on advanced minimal access gynaecological surgery. I hold a substantive NHS consultant post at Darent Valley Hospital, where I am Obstetric Lead and deputy Clinical Director. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
My surgical practice centres on laparoscopic and open approaches to benign gynaecology, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy and open hysterectomy, management of fibroids, laparoscopic management of ovarian cysts and endometriosis, and laparoscopic abdominal cerclage for women with a history of cervical weakness. My other interest is PCOS or PMOS and HRT.

Alongside clinical work I am an MRCOG examiner, an RCOG Council member, and an active researcher and peer reviewer.
Patients can expect a clear explanation of the options, including when surgery is not the right answer, and a decision made together.
