About me

I qualified from The London Hospital in 1988 and completed my general surgical training to obtain my Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and also Glasgow.
I did a spinal Fellowship at Ohio State University in the USA in 1994 - 1995. I have pursued my interest in this field vigorously since taking up my appointment as Consultant Neurosurgeon at King's College Hospital in 1998. I gained FRCS Neurosurgery in 1998.
I have also developed interests in pituitary surgery having spent time in Germany with Professor Fahlbusch and also Professor Laws in the United States. My interests in skull base surgery and surgery of acoustic neuromas have led me to forge very close links with Professor Michael Gleeson at Guy's Hospital. I am now a Member of the Advisory Board of Neurofibromatosis in the U.K.
I have recently retired as Lead Clinician of Neurosurgery at King's College Hospital. I also perform general spinecare services.
