About me

I am presently employed as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS, and am offering two days a week to see private clients.

I am a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate individual with experience of working with clients and their emotional difficulties for over 10 years in a range of settings. I strive to help clients understand the difficulties they are experiencing, offering bespoke therapy to best meet their needs and help clients work towards their goals.

I have completed 7 years of full-time Psychology training, including BSc and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Areas of interest

I utilise an integrative approach informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-focussed Therapy models. I am also trained in EMDR.

In private practice I specialise in working with individuals aged 16+.

I enjoy working with a range of mental health difficulties and common struggles, including anxiety, panic, phobias, low mood, adjustment, stress, burnout, low self-confidence, sleep problems, loss and grief, eating disorders, trauma. I also support individuals with relationship difficulties.

I have particular expertise in supporting clients with physical health difficulties, including persistent pain, chronic fatigue, heart conditions, gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS, diabetes and cystic fibrosis.
