About me
Dr Leonard is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years previous NHS experience in working with young people and families where there is impact from mental health difficulties and additional needs such as Learning Disability, Autism, PDA and ADHD. She now works full time in private practice. She has experience of working in CAMHS, Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities.
Since qualifying, Dr Leonard has additional training in Clinical Supervision, Mental Health First Aid Instruction and using assessment measures such as the ADOS2, ADI-R, and the 3di and attends ADOS2 Reliability Workshops to maintain her skills. She also routinely conducts expert witness assessments for the courts and EHCP tribunals.
Dr Leonard is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
