About me
I am a professionally qualified, BACP Accredited Counsellor offering both short-term and long-term therapy for a range of issues. My counselling practice includes working in higher education and in the private sector. For the past 10 years I have worked for a leading university in the West Midlands, providing counselling to a diverse population of students and staff. I have extensive experience of working with a variety of issues both in-person and online.
My practice is based on providing a flexible, integrative approach which is tailored to individual need. I believe experiencing a collaborative, trusting and purposeful therapeutic relationship is key to you getting the most out of counselling, and I care deeply about creating a space in which you feel listened to and safe to explore your inner world.
Areas of interest
I work with adults and have extensive experience in Anxiety; Bereavement; Depression; Low self-esteem; Low self-confidence; Loneliness; Identity; Relationships; Stress.
I am trained in both Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centred Therapy and work integratively. I believe in using the approach and techniques that are right for you, to help you explore personal difficulties, gain clarity, make life-enhancing changes and improve your wellbeing.
