About me

I'm an interventional Consultant in Pain, Neuromodulation and Anaesthesia with more than 15 years experience in my field. I work between the NHS and the independent sector. My independent practice is based in NorthWest of England between Manchester and Liverpool.
I offer my patients a wide range of interventional procedures for their long standing pain conditions hand in hand with adopting a holistic approach to their management that takes in account the complex bio-psycho-social nature of long standing pain to help them achieve excellent outcomes and better quality of life and normal function.

His areas of interest inPain medicine are:
Musculoskeletal pain arising from large joints(hips,knees and shoulders) and spine; facet joints, sacroiliac joints, sciatica and radicular pain, pyriformis syndrome and cluneal nerve entrapment syndrome
Neuropathic pain disorders such as painful diabetic neuropathy, CRPS, post herptic neuralgia
Fibromyalgia,CFS,ME
Headache and facial pain disorders
Cancer pain
Neuromodulation

Facet joint diagnostic block and RF ablation for low back and neck pain
Nerve root block for sciatica and radicular pain
Pyriformis injection for pyriformis syndrome and Cluneal nerve release for Cluneal nerve entrapment
Botox injection and Occipital nerve block for headache
Diagnostic hip articular branch block and RF ablation for hip pain
Diagnostic knee genicular nerve block and RF ablation for knee pain
Diagnostic suprascapular, lateral pectoral and axillary nerve block and RF ablation for shoulder pain
