About me

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in CBT and psychological therapy. My private therapy practice provides a safe and supportive space to help clients explore and address issues and concerns, through short or longer term therapy.

I have experience of working in NHS therapeutic and psychological services since 2004 when I started as an assistant psychologist. I work with people who have experienced a range of issues from mild concerns to complex and enduring problems including psychosis, providing psychological assessment and treatments.

I work collaboratively and compassionately with my clients, following the goals we set for therapy and developing an understanding of the problems you are facing. We try out different strategies and practice these during the session and set as between session tasks for you to see how the strategies work for you.

My roles include private work and an NHS role as a highly specialist clinical psychologist in adult mental health services. I also provide consultation, teaching and training to staff teams, and supervise qualified and trainee clinical psychologists within this post.

I have specialist trainings in CBT for bipolar affective disorder, psychosis, and EMDR training (trauma work).
