About me

Mr Justin qualified from The London Hospital Medical College in 1988 and became a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. Moving to the Academic Department of Surgery at the University of Nottingham he studied the effects of gastrin hormone in gastric and colorectal cancer and undertook trials in novel agents in the treatment of these cancers. His thesis was published in 1995.

Mr Justin finished his specialist training in the Nottingham Hospitals and Sheffield before being appointed a consultant at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds in 2000.

Mr Justin moved full-time into the role of independent surgical consultant at the BMI St Edmunds Hospital in 2016. He works in private practice whilst also seeing some NHS patients, treating a broad range of general and gastrointestinal pathology, with a focus on GI endoscopic investigation.

Mr Justin was also a tutor for the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine and a past Fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge.

Mr Justin is the Clinical Chair, Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and Clinical Lead in Endoscopy at the BMI St Edmunds Hospital
