About me
I have experience working with individuals and families following physical, traumatic and neurological events, from concussion, to progressive conditions. I can work with individuals around adjustment to a new diagnosis, living with a neurological condition as well as anxiety, low mood and cognitive concerns. I use a range of therapeutic models, including Motivational Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I can also offer EMDR.
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body for Clinical Psychologists. I am also a Full Practitioner Member of the British Psychological Society(BPS) Division of Neuropsychology and I am listed on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. I am also a representative for NHS Lothian at the Division of Neuropsychology Scotland.
