About me

Welcome to my profile. My name is Denisa White and I am a therapist who specialises in working with clients who are bereaved.

I help my clients to rebuild their lives after losing their loved one. I will guide you to find the most suitable strategies to help you to be able to look at the picture of your loved one without feeling like you'll fall apart.

Unresolved grief can bring on feelings of anxiety or depression. Perhaps there is guilt or shame surrounding your loss. Let me reassure you that you are not alone. Many of my clients have experienced these feelings and emotions and together we managed to work on the symptoms and made them more manageable.

During our sessions together, we will first look at how grief is impacting your daily life. We will also talk about how you are trying to cope, what strategy is working and what is not. What support network you have around you or what support there is available to you. We will also look at ways of how you can grow your life around your grief, helping you ease the pain, find new meaning in life and help you to re-focus.

You can, as many of my clients already have done so, live your life and let grief be a part of it in a more manageable way.  Your grief will not disappear from your life completely but instead you will adapt and learn how to live with your grief.

Grief comes and goes in waves, but over time, with the right help, the impact of the waves will not be as painful and  as crushing as it was at the start.
