About me

Dr Ankit Jain is a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist working at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, UK. He was trained at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham and St James University Hospital, Leeds. He specializes in Colon and Rectal cancer, Lung cancer, Renal cancer and Neuroendocrine cancers. He has enormous experience in treating patients with anti-cancer systemic therapies including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy.

Ankit has passion for Clinical Research and obtained MSc Oncology from University of Birmingham. He is the lead for clinical research and trials at his trust and has been a Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials with publications in multiple peer reviewed journals.

Ankit is committed to the teaching and is the Clinical lead for Oncology teaching for the Undergraduate medical students at the University of Wolverhampton. He has delivered numerous presentations at National, Regional and Local level and has been invited for oral presentations at an International level. He is also the lead for Clinical fellowship Oncology at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. He sits on various International and National advisory boards.

He has an active interest in the management and co-leads the oncology department at his trust as Deputy Clinical Director. Ankit is committed to provide evidence based, individualised care for his patients and with excellent communication skills always strives to go a step further to improve patient care and outcome.
