About me

My focus is on providing high quality evidence-based psychological therapies in a manner that is compassionate and healing. My initial aim is to offer you a private and non-judgmental safe space to express and explore what you are struggling with.

I am originally from Zambia, and have grown up across Africa, Europe and South Asia. I bring this lived experience of multiculturalism and familiarity with change to my therapeutic practice.

I am trained as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and academic, who has over a decade of experience working in psychology across the NHS, private practice, academia and the international NGO sector.

In my clinical work, I have practised at several specialist NHS and private London outpatient clinics, including the Maudsley Hospital Trauma, Anxiety & Depression Clinic, the Traumatic Stress Service at Springfield University Hospital, and Psych Health.

As a scholar, I have held research and teaching positions at UCL and King's College London, and have co-founded TraumaPsychology, a bespoke education and training consultancy. I have written several scientific journal articles and book chapters which explore the impact of adverse early life experiences on well-being in adulthood.
