About me
Mr Yap is a Gynaecological Cancer and Reconstructive Surgeon and he offers the following service to patients:
1. Surgical treatment for Gynaecological cancer and pre-cancerous condition (vulva, cervix, ovarian, uterus, vagina)
2.Robotic and Laparoscopic (key hole) surgery for diagnosis, hysterectomy, female sterilisation, removal of ovaries, Fallopian tubes and cancer treatment
3. Vulval plastic reconstructive surgery following cancer treatment/previous surgery
4. Vulval and pelvic pain (vulvodynia, vaginismus, pelvic pain)
5. Vulval disease (e.g. VIN, Lichen Sclerosus, Lichen Planus..etc)
6. Plastic surgery of the vulva/perineum (e.g. Modified Fenton's vestibulectomy for vulvodynia, perineal refashioning after child birth trauma and labial reduction for cosmetic)
7. Surgical and non-surgical management of benign and pre-cancerous vulval disease, including vulvodynia
8. Women with period (menstrual) problem and other gynaecological conditions
