About me
I'm a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with years of experience working across a variety of clinical and sporting environments.
Academic Training & Qualifications
I hold a BSc in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Strength and Conditioning Science. I've also gained a Bronze accreditation with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM), alongside additional specialist qualifications, including:
Medical Acupuncture
FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine
Level 2 Personal Trainer Certification
Clinical Pilates (Level 1)
ACPSEM Sports Taping & Rock Taping
I'm passionate about continuous professional development, having completed further training in shockwave therapy, complex shoulder pathology, running-related injuries, sacroiliac dysfunction, muscle energy techniques, and many other areas.
My Experience
Over the course of my career, I've been fortunate to work in a wide range of settings. I started out working in professional football with Brighton & Hove Albion FC, before spending five years as Lead Clinician for the 36 Engineer Regiment and the Queen's Gurkhas.
Most recently, I've been working as an Advanced Practitioner at Horder Healthcare, specialising in complex hip and knee pathologies. I've also collaborated with physiotherapists from the Great Britain Olympic Team during my ACPSEM accreditation, further refining my skills in sports injury rehabilitation.
Earlier in my career, I gained valuable experience in a complex rehabilitation hospital, treating patients with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and multiple sclerosis. These diverse roles have given me a deep understanding of both acute and chronic conditions, helping me provide tailored, evidence-based care.
