About me

I am a consultant gynaecologist at Homerton Hospital; the hospital renowned for outstanding care in the latest CQC report. I have more than 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology gained from immensely heavy challenging workload in Egypt and the UK.

My broad combined training and experience enabled me in managing benign gynaecological conditions with specialisation in management of pelvic floor disorders including but not limited to prolapse, urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction. I also manage fibroids via advanced endoscopic and abdominal surgery. In addition, I perform laparoscopic surgery for various indications including managing ovarian cysts, hysterectomy and mild to moderate endometriosis.

Over my years of experience, I performed more than 1,000 hysteroscopy prcoedures, hundreds of hysterectomies and thousands of open surgeries. I have done hundreds of laparoscopic surgeries. Because of my expertise in urogynaecology, I have managed hundreds of vaginal surgeries and urinary incontinence procedures.
