This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Leadbetter is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Sulis Hospital, Bath, specialising in cataract surgery, refractive surgery and glaucoma. He is a highly skilled cataract & refractive surgeon, offering surgery with the full range of standard and premium lenses. He also runs a busy glaucoma practice, providing all aspects of expert glaucoma care including treatments such as selective laser trabeculoplasty and iStent surgery.
He studied Medicine at Imperial College London, intercalating with an additional BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia.
After Medical Foundation Training in London, Mr Leadbetter undertook his Ophthalmic Specialist Training in the South West, with a fellowship in Glaucoma at The Bristol Eye Hospital.
For his NHS practice, Mr Leadbetter is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at The Royal United Hospital, Bath, where he runs the glaucoma service.
Mr Leadbetter has a research interest in glaucoma and cataract. He has published numerous journal articles and presented at national and international meetings on these topics. He acts as a reviewer for the European Journal of Ophthalmology.
