About me

With over 16 years of clinical experience, I am a UK - licensed Integrative Psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals, young people, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.

I have extensive experience supporting clients with anxiety, stress, trauma, abuse, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, confidence issues, bereavement, addiction, self-harm, depression, and significant life transitions. I believe that each person is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, goals, and circumstances. Taking the first step towards change can feel daunting, and I am committed to walking alongside you throughout that journey with compassion and understanding.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transpersonal Therapy. This enables me to adapt my approach to suit each client, helping them identify and transform unhelpful patterns while developing greater self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth. Central to my work is the belief that every individual possesses an innate capacity for healing, resilience, and positive change.

Alongside my clinical practice, I have completed postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. My specialist interests include Trauma, attachment, domestic abuse, sexual trauma, HIV/AIDS, cultural identity, and the mental health needs of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities. I am passionate about providing culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy that acknowledges the impact of identity, culture, family dynamics, and lived experience on emotional wellbeing.

I have worked extensively with children, young people, and families, including within youth services and the YMCA, supporting vulnerable young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. My experience spans counselling, psychotherapy, youth work, and community-based services, where I have collaborated closely with families, schools, health professionals, social care services, and other multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.

I also work in partnership with referral organisations, including NHS services, addiction support agencies, and women's services. Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong commitment to safeguarding, professional ethics, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

I offer psychological assessment, counselling, and consultation services for adults, children, young people, and families. I have particular expertise in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those adjusting to life in a new country, managing experiences of isolation, identity challenges, relationship difficulties, or the pressures of balancing multiple cultural expectations.

My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect. Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to better understand yourself and your relationships, I aim to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where meaningful and lasting change can take place.
