About me
Mr Oragui is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in all aspects of Hip Surgery. His NHS Practice is at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. His practice includes all aspects of hip surgery such as hip resurfacing, replacements, hip redo or revision surgery, hip arthroscopy and sports injuries around the hip. He uses the muscle sparing direct anterior approach for hip replacements which allows patients a faster recovery without restrictions.
Mr Oragui read medicine at Cambridge University and completed his clinical studies at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School. He underwent specialist orthopaedic training in London, followed by advanced fellowship training in hip reconstructive surgery in Sydney and Oxford.
Mr Oragui has published widely in a number of peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at national and international conferences. He is a regular guest speaker on hip conditions at international meetings.
Mr Oragui read an MBA at the London Business School and is passionate about leadership, management and innovation within healthcare. He has led on a number of successful service improvement projects within healthcare. He regularly audits his practice and monitors his outcomes to ensure his patients receive the best available care.
