About me
Margaret Callan graduated in Medical Science and Physiology from Cambridge University and qualified in Medicine from Oxford University. After completing her D Phil she completed her Rheumatology training in Oxford and held Medical Research Council Clinician Scientist and Senior Fellowship positions in Oxford before moving to London. She has been a Consultant Rheumatologist for 25 years. She holds a Consultant post at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and teaches at Imperial College School of Medicine.
Areas of interest
Arthritis including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Gout; Osteoporosis; Musculoskeletal/Soft tissue conditions such as Tennis Elbow, Shoulder Rotator Cuff syndrome etc; Connective tissue disease including Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
