About me
Mr Oni undertook his medical undergraduate training at the University of Warwick after which he completed in basic surgical training in the west midlands based in Birmingham working in the military based University Hospital Birmingham. He went on to further his post graduate training in orthopaedics in the Kent Surrey and Sussex rotation.
He completed his rigorous FRCS post graduate exams in 2019 and on completing training he went on to hone his skillset in hip and knee arthroplasty by completing a fellowship In Sydney Australia, working with world renowned surgeons while learning advanced techniques and computer assisted surgery. Mr Oni has a passion for hip and knee surgery and continually strives to increase precision and outcomes of surgery.
His specialist interest within hip and knee surgery now lies in computer assisted surgery in order to improve not just accuracy but also the outcome for his patients. This passion was born out of the increasing evidence that patients get improving results after computer assisted or indeed robotic assisted surgery.
He is passionate about advanced recovery of patients following major hip and knee operations and is currently working to improve the standard of care and post op rehabilitation after surgery to get his patients home and back to normal life as soon as they would like.
In his spare time Mr Oni has a keen interest in fitness currently regularly participating in many functional fitness gyms. He is also a keen and aspiring musician playing the guitar, drum and singing on occasion!
