About me

I have been a Consultant at Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), part of Manchester Foundation Trust, since 2000. I graduated from both St. Andrews and Manchester and trained in the North West and Yorkshire. As well as elective (planned) surgery I specialise in trauma surgery. Since MRI became a Major Trauma Centre in 2012 I have been the Clinical Lead for the adult side of the Trust. Due to my trauma interest I also provide medical cover for professional sports events and teams including motor racing, football and rugby.
