About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have worked in the NHS for over 15 years. During this time, I've supported both adults and children across a range of services, working with experiences such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties sometimes described under the umbrella of personality disorder.
My training allows me to draw from a number of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, mindfulness?based approaches, Internal Family Systems and systemic thinking. I have also completed further training in both CAT and EMDR.
What matters most to me is that therapy feels collaborative, grounded, and shaped around what you need. In our early sessions, we spend time getting to know what's bringing you to therapy, what feels important to you, and how you'd like things to change. From there, we tailor the work together so it feels meaningful, manageable, and aligned with your goals and pace.
I'm happy to offer a brief initial conversation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit, as the therapeutic relationship is such an important part of meaningful and effective therapy
