About me

I am a Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience working with people presenting with a wide variety of diffuclties including stress, bereavement, ptsd, relationship struggles, panic and anxiety, obsessive compulsive thoughts and behaviours, addictions, depression and sleeplessness.

My core training is in psychoanalytic psychotherapy but I integrate a number of therapeutic methods in order to help my clients gain the insight and the tools to move beyond their current difficulties and to get to where they would like to be in their lives. I am also an EMDR practitioner and am trained in creative arts therapy methods which I also bring into sessions when useful. I am a trauma indormed psychotherapist, This means that a lot of my training as well as the way I work with people is informed by the ever increasisng knowledge and understanding of the effects of emotional trauma on our minds and bodies.
