About me

I am a consultant surgeon, appointed in 2001, specialising in the assessment and management of all breast conditions. We provide a one stop clinic for assessment and investigations. I participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure all patients receive the gold standard of care. My specialist areas of interest are breast cancer surgery, including breast reconstruction (except free flap surgery which is preformed in conjunction with plastic surgery colleagues at the regional centre) and oncoplastic techniques for breast conservation, avoiding mastectomy. My clinic offers a full range of appropriate investigations and we work with specialists in oncology, radiology, pathology, psychology and plastic surgeons to ensure patients receive the best advice and treatment.
