About me
I earned my Master of Nutrition and Dietetics degree from the University of Nottingham and am accredited by the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
With more than ten years of experience in the National Health Service (NHS), my expertise has grown to encompass a broad range of clinical areas, with a particular focus on gastroenterology, food intolerance and food chemical sensitivity.
I specialise in providing guidance and support for conditions such as Diverticular Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, recognising the vital importance of nutrition in enhancing overall health, alleviating symptoms, and significantly improving quality of life.
To further my expertise, I have completed additional training at Monash University on the low FODMAP diet for IBS, and I have also received training in food chemical sensitivity at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia.
My dedication extends to assisting individuals in managing chronic illnesses and navigating their treatment paths effectively.
I have a particular interest in exploring the connection between gut health and menopause, especially focusing on histamine intolerance and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
Currently, I practice as a private Dietitian in Nottingham, committed to profoundly impacting my clients' health and well-being.
