About me

I hold a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics degree from the University of Nottingham and am accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA). I am also a member of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI).

With over a decade of experience in the National Health Service (NHS), I specialise in managing complex digestive health issues, particularly conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), food intolerance, histamine-related disorders like Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and the emerging impact of long COVID on gut health. I also support clients managing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), and fibromyalgia, focusing on how nutrition can help manage fatigue, pain, and energy levels.

My approach centres on providing personalised nutritional care for chronic conditions, recognising how interconnected gut health, CFS, ME, fibromyalgia, IBS, MCAS, and histamine intolerance can affect overall well-being. I work collaboratively with clients to alleviate symptoms, reduce discomfort, and improve their quality of life with targeted evidence-based nutritional strategies.

I have completed advanced training on the low FODMAP diet for IBS through Monash University and specialised training in food chemical sensitivity at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia. This enables me to offer guidance to clients facing histamine intolerance, food sensitivities, and the ongoing challenges of long COVID, ME, CFS, and fibromyalgia.

I have a particular interest in the intersection of gut health, chronic illness, hormone changes, and fatigue management, with a focus on the role of histamine intolerance and MCAS during menopause and post-viral conditions like long COVID, ME, and CFS.

Currently, I run a private dietetic practice online and in Nottingham, dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their health challenges and achieve sustainable improvements in their overall health and well-being.
