About me

I hold a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics degree from the University of Nottingham. I am accredited by the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA). I am a member of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology.
(BSACI).

With over a decade of experience in the National Health Service (NHS), I have developed expertise in managing complex digestive health issues, with a particular focus on conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), food intolerance, histamine-related conditions like Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and the impact of long COVID on gut health.

My specialism lies in providing tailored nutritional support for individuals dealing with chronic conditions such as histamine intolerance, MCAS, IBS, and long COVID, understanding how these interconnected conditions can disrupt gut function and overall well-being. I work closely with clients to help them manage symptoms, alleviate discomfort, and improve their quality of life through targeted nutritional strategies.

I have completed advanced training on the low FODMAP diet for IBS at Monash University and specialised training in food chemical sensitivity at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia. This allows me to provide evidence-based guidance for those with histamine intolerance, food sensitivities, and the emerging challenges of long COVID.

I have a particular interest in the intersection of gut health, chronic illnesses, and hormone changes, especially focusing on the role of histamine intolerance and MCAS during menopause and in those recovering from long COVID.

Currently, I run a private dietetic practice online and in Nottingham, where I am dedicated to helping individuals manage the complexities of their conditions and achieve lasting improvements in their health and well-being.
