About me
Dr Aruna Arujuna is an experienced consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist. He is the clinical lead for electrophysiology at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College London
He specialises in general cardiology and has specific expertise in treating patients with heart rhythm problems. He carries out diagnostic tests such as ECGs, heart rhythm monitoring and echocardiography. His treatments include DC Cardioversion, Loop Recorder Implants, Permanent Pacemakers and ICD Implantation as well as Catheter Ablation for Heart Rhythm Disturbances such as Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVTs and Ventricular Tachycardia.
