About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of NHS experience, working across a wide variety of services with individuals, families, and teams. I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh and my BSc in Psychology at the University of Bristol. Alongside my independent practice (currently online only), I am the Lead Clinical Psychologist in an NHS Perinatal Mental Health Team.

I have a particular passion for women's health across the lifespan, including supporting parents during pregnancy and the early years, through to the challenges that can arise during perimenopause and menopause. I am also an accredited Schema Therapist, and this approach underpins much of my practice, helping us understand how early life experiences continue to shape how we think, feel, and relate as adults.

I know it can feel daunting to reach out for support, and I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and confidential space to explore whatever is on your mind. When it feels difficult to see the possibility of change, I will hold that hope for you until you feel able to hold it yourself.

I offer a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs, including EMDR, Schema Therapy, CBT, CFT, Circle of Security, MBT, and DBT.

Areas of interest

I am a recognised expert in Perinatal Mental Health, supporting parents through pregnancy, birth, the early years, and difficulties such as birth trauma and tokophobia. I also work with a wide range of adult presentations, including depression, anxiety (panic, phobias, health anxiety, OCD, social and generalised anxiety), trauma and PTSD, stress and burnout, grief and adjustment and long-term health conditions. I have a strong interest in women's health across the lifespan, offering support around perimenopause and menopause. I also provide space for those adjusting to a post-ASD or ADHD diagnosis.

For infants, children and young people, I offer help with attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, behavioural and emotional challenges, self-esteem, and parenting support, including 1:1 Circle of Security work.
